Position Summary 

FundMiner is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Representative to help scale our sales infrastructure, improve operational workflows, and optimize performance across the sales funnel. 

In this role, you’ll be the strategic and analytical partner to our growing Sales team responsible for streamlining sales processes, managing key tools and systems (like HubSpot), and generating actionable insights that drive revenue growth. 

You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership to ensure we’re operating efficiently, forecasting accurately, and continuously improving how we go to market. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, loves solving systems-level challenges, and has a strong grasp of SaaS sales metrics and CRM management.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities 

  • CRM Ownership & Data Integrity: Manage and optimize FundMiner’s HubSpot CRM to ensure data accuracy, usability, and efficiency across the sales funnel. Enforce best practices in data hygiene, implement automations, and maintain clean, actionable records that support seamless reporting and team workflows. 
  • Sales Process Development & Enablement: Design and refine scalable sales processes that improve pipeline efficiency and conversion rates. Document workflows, support team adoption, and build tools and resources that enhance productivity across the sales lifecycle. 
  • Sales Strategy & Insights: Analyze sales trends and team performance to uncover opportunities for improvement. Use qualitative and quantitative insights from closed losses and other aspects of the sales processes to recommend enhancements and strategic pivots, optimizing efforts of the sales representatives and reducing pipeline bottlenecks 
  • Lead & Pipeline Operations: Support the full lead lifecycle by ensuring accurate lead routing, timely follow-ups, and seamless handoffs between Marketing, BDRs, and Account Executives. Maintain visibility into funnel performance from lead generation through to closed-won deals. 
  • Performance Tracking & Forecasting: Monitor key sales metrics including conversion rates, sales cycle length, and win/loss data. Build dashboards and reports to provide the sales team and leadership with real-time visibility into performance and pipeline health. Partner with the Head of Sales to ensure accurate forecasting. 
  • Tool & Tech Stack Management: Evaluate, implement, and manage tools across the sales stack, including HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Asana, and others. Ensure tools are integrated, aligned with team needs, and used effectively to support scale and operational excellence. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance by aligning on pipeline targets, lead quality, and revenue tracking. Facilitate feedback loops and identify operational gaps that impact performance across functions.  
  • Operational Project Leadership: Own and drive projects that support sales excellence such as onboarding programs, sales playbooks, compensation structure changes, or territory design. Manage timelines, gather feedback, and ensure successful implementation. 
  • KPI Management & Goal Alignment: Track and report on KPIs tied to sales team activity, process adherence, and revenue outcomes. Use insights to inform goal setting, performance reviews, and incentive plans that drive team accountability and results.

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • 1-3 years of professional experience managing CRM databases or working in SaaS business development, customer success, or sales. 
  • Proven HubSpot CRM expertise including pipeline management, workflow automation, reporting, and dashboard creation. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting client relationships. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in managing prospective clients and sales activities. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen, with an exemplary professional demeanor. 
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage client interactions and sales processes.

Work Environment & Accommodations 

This is a remote position. As a small but mighty (and quickly growing!) team, we’re not based in central office space but will work with you to ensure you have a suitable setup and equipment to work from remotely. 

Travel 

Occasional travel may be required for this role, anywhere between 5-25% of the time. 

Salary & Compensation 

We believe in transparency and equitable compensation. The base salary for this role is  $55,000 - $75,000
