Who We Are

At FundMiner, our purpose is to help organizations turn dollars raised into impact delivered. FundMiner is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company in an area of the market that has been historically underserved, with an opportunity to impact lives through technology. We're building toward a future where philanthropic dollars reach the people they're meant for promptly, donor intent is honored, and supporters can see exactly how their gift was utilized and what impact was made.

FundMiner is a fund management, stewardship, and donor reporting platform built for universities, healthcare systems, and community foundations. We help these institutions manage, spend, and report on donor-restricted funds in one place, tracking fund compliance, automating donor reporting, and strengthening donor trust at scale.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Product Enablement Specialist to sit at the intersection of Customer Experience (Implementation & Customer Success), Product, and Engineering while playing a critical role in ensuring customers are implemented effectively, integrations are executed smoothly, and technical questions are resolved quickly.

This role will also serve as a bridge between customer-facing teams and the product and engineering organization, translating customer needs into technical requirements and helping ensure that product improvements are informed by real customer usage. This work will also include building scalable processes and contributing to technical documentation that will guide internal and external teams.

With the opportunity to grow alongside the customer success function in a fast-paced, adaptive startup environment, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across teams, and helping shape the future of a growing product.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Implementation & Technical Enablement
    • Support Customer Experience during the technical phases of customer implementations, particularly when integrations or advanced configurations are required.
    • Assist with technical setup and troubleshooting including:
      • API and SFTP integrations used to synchronize FundMiner with systems of record
      • Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and authentication troubleshooting
      • Email authentication setups such as DKIM and SPF
      • Complex user permission configurations
      • Advanced data configuration or impact reporting setups
    • Help diagnose technical challenges surfaced during implementations or ongoing product usage, determining whether they represent configuration issues, product limitations, or bugs.
    • When issues arise, provide workarounds where possible to unblock customers and collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure proper issue resolution.
  • Integration & Technical Management
    • Own and maintain the integration tracker that maps each customer’s data synchronization requirements, integration status, and system dependencies.
    • Work with Customer Experience to gather integration requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications for the engineering team.
    • Collaborate closely with Engineering to coordinate the development and deployment of integrations while keeping internal stakeholders informed of timelines and progress.
    • Develop and maintain integration playbooks and implementation frameworks that standardize how data synchronization requirements are handled across customer implementations.
    • Validate data mappings, field configurations, and overall data quality during implementations to ensure the data flowing into FundMiner is accurate, reliable, and structured appropriately for reporting and analytics.
  • Cross Functional Communication & Product Feedback
    • Serve as a bridge between Implementation, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure consistent product understanding and communication.
    • Act as an internal product expert, supporting teams with technical product questions and implementation best practices.
    • Help Product and Engineering prioritize improvements by identifying the most impactful issues and opportunities based on direct exposure to customer implementations and usage patterns.
  • Documentation & Enablement
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for both internal teams and customers, including:
      • Integration setup guides
      • Technical configuration documentation
      • Advanced feature walkthroughs
      • Troubleshooting and best-practice guides
    • Partner with Customer Experience to expand the FundMiner knowledge base, taking ownership of documentation for more technical and complex product topics.
    • Provide internal product training across the company to ensure strong understanding of FundMiner’s technical capabilities, integrations, and configuration options.
    • Help develop scalable internal processes that improve collaboration between internal and customer-facing teams.

Skills & Experience

This is an ideal but non-exhaustive list of qualifications we are looking for in a successful candidate. If you meet some but not all of these, we encourage you to apply anyway! • Familiarity with authentication technologies such as SSO, SAML, OAuth, or similar protocols is strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working through complex technical or data-related questions with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple implementations and integration requirements simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships.
  • Experience working in startup or fast-growing SaaS environments is a plus.
