Position Summary
We’re looking for a creative and people-oriented Partnerships Manager to lead and scale our partnerships function while directly supporting revenue growth. This role sits at the intersection of partnerships, sales, and go-to-market strategy, ensuring partner efforts translate into tangible pipeline.
In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end partnership life cycle, from sourcing and onboarding to activation and ongoing enablement, while serving as the connective tissue between FundMiner’s internal teams and external partners.
This role supports critical revenue goals and long-term company success with the opportunity to scale from the ground up in a fast-paced and highly adaptive startup.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Execution

Identify, develop, and activate partner deals that drive measurable outcomes and reinforce FundMiner’s position as a leader in fund management.

Manage a robust pipeline of strategic partners to expand FundMiner’s market presence and customer base.

Work with leadership to develop and deploy custom strategies for identified Top Five Partners that achieve mutually agreed-upon partnership goals.

Align partnership opportunities to FundMiner’s revenue and growth goals, ensuring partnerships are measurable, strategic, and scalable.
Partner Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for existing partners, project-managing ongoing relationships to ensure consistent engagement, value delivery, and performance.

Craft and manage the monthly partners newsletter.

Build trusted relationships with partner AEs, partnership managers, and partnership leadership teams.

Drive regular partner check-ins, pipeline reviews, enablement sessions, and joint planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a bridge between Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure alignment on messaging, enablement, and GTM execution.

Work closely with Sales to ensure partner-sourced and partner-influenced deals are properly tracked and supported.

Collaborate with Marketing on co-marketing initiatives, webinars, events, and content.
Product Expertise & Enablement

Develop deep product knowledge to confidently position and demo FundMiner for partners and prospects.

Enable partners with the tools, training, and messaging needed to successfully represent FundMiner in the market.

Provide feedback to the Product team based on partner insights and market needs.
Communication, Events & Thought Leadership

Identify high-value events and communities aligned with FundMiner’s ICP and partnership strategy.

Represent FundMiner at conferences, industry events, and partner-hosted opportunities.

Support and participate in speaking engagements, panels, webinars, and workshops to expand FundMiner’s brand.

Stay up to date with industry trends and participate in conferences, workshops, and networking events.

Create and deliver persuasive presentations articulating the benefits of partnering with or adopting FundMiner’s solutions.

Position FundMiner as a thought leader through strategic content and storytelling.

Build authentic industry relationships to expand both personal and company reach.

- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in the fundraising/advancement industry, donor relations, fund management, or related field OR 2-5 years of professional experience in the nonprofit technology sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships.
- Exceptional project management skills to ensure proper follow-ups and completion of action items in a timely manner.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a natural ability to influence and persuade others. You are creative and solutions oriented.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in managing relationships and activities.
- Understanding of the SaaS sales funnel and the hand-off between Marketing and Sales teams.
- Understanding of the nonprofit technology ecosystem to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also being comfortable working independently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, Hubspot, and Asana to track and maintain relationships and projects.
- Preference for a former fundraising industry professional or background in advancement or education tech, government tech or related fields

Work Environment & Accommodations
This is a remote position. As a small but mighty (and quickly growing!) team, we’re not based in central office space but will work with you to ensure you have a suitable setup and equipment to work remotely.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required for this role, anywhere between 5-25% of the time.
Salary & Compensation
We believe in transparency and equitable compensation.
The Partnerships Manager role is a commission earning role (80/20). The base salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 and the total on target earnings (OTE) are $80,000 - $100,000.
